OPTIMISTIC RESULTS from the ITB Exhibition , Berlin 06 – 10 03 bringing renewed possitive climate for Greece!

Hoteliers, Travel Agents and members of the Promotional Tourism Board of Rhodes returned from Berlin at the weekend with the certainty that this year the season in Rhodes will be one of the best ever!

Barring the month of May, which appears to be moving at a ‘slower pace’, the rest of the season looks optimistic. Germany is not alone this year; Greece is also favored throughout Europe as encouraging sales continue with the exception of Italy due to the current economic crisis.

With the current existing demand for Greece the need for special offers is no longer a necessity and will hopefully bring more favorable financial results at the end of this year for the hoteliers.

The Europe Travel team captured the exhibition hall and the Rhodes stand during the climax of the day but also included a few shots of the stand after trading hours. The stand received a complete ‘facelift’ this year and proudly stood out from the rest!

Following ITB in the run of major exhibitions this year ‘Moscow International Exhibition Travel & Tourism’ (MITT) in Russia, which will take place during 20-23 March, with an expectancy of 3,000 participating exhibitors worldwide.
