AURINKOMATKAT (AURINKO) 50th Anniversary celebration, a milestone worthy of the wonderful honorary party organized by the Rodos Hotel Association & Rodos Tourism Promotion Organization turned out to be a great success at the Rodos Palace hotel at the evening of  22/8/13. 

Rhodes & Majorka were the first two destinations for Aurinkomatkat in 1963 and over the past 50 years both still remain popular choices for it's clients.

The board and members of staff working for Aurinko in Rhodes, together with several members of the Management and Staff of Europe Travel, hoteliers and various Officials from Rhodes, thoroughly enjoyed this great event which started off with a cocktail followed by a few short speeches by; Mr. S Kousounas - the Major of Rhodes and President of Rodos Tourism Promotion Organization, Mr. Andonis Cambourakis - President of the Rodos Hotel Association, Ms. Litsa Ftaklaki the Vice Governor of Southern Aegean Region and Mr. Ilias Kotiadis - CEO, Europe Travel representatives of Aurinkomatkat in Rhodes.

Attending from the board of Aurinkomatkat were; Mr. M. Tuomo - MD, Ms S. Sievanen – Bus. Cont. & Admin. Director, Ms. P. Viljaniemi – ICT Director, Ms A. Salmi – Marketing & Sales Director, Mr. J. Ohralahti – Director of Production, Mr. K. Al-Soufi – Development Director, Mr T. Vurmer – Country Mgr. Aurinko Ou – Estonia.

A wonderful dinner followed accompanied by International music and Greek traditional folkloric dancing. The event was an unforgettable occasion for all who attended.
